Platter Peripheral Wave Trap



The original Oracle AC turntable and the Delphi MkI, MkII and MkIII platters were fitted with an external peripheral wave trap who’s role was to dampen platter resonances. If your peripheral wave trap is damaged or missing we strongly suggest to use our replacement O-ring wave trap! The usage of an efficient wave trap will help silence platter vibration and resonances which will result in a much more silent background for the music to paint itself upon. This should not be considered as an upgrade (other than visual) but rather as a replacement of a missing or damaged part that makes sure the Delphi functions according to its original specifications. The replacement wave trap is composed of a set of three O-rings that can be installed by the owner.
